What do you do when you are bored and frustrated with new music? Well you get together with a couple of mates and create a band, thats what! This was the case for alternative trio Loom who received critical acclaim from the likes of Daniel P Carter, Zane Lowe, NME for their covers EP and supported the likes of Frank Carter & the Rattlesnakes and TurboWolf as well as sharing the stage with a little known band called The Rolling Stones (hmm no me neither…). Now they have revealed the details of their debut album!

Loom is set for release via Silent Cult Records on May 19, 2017 and has been two years in the making as frontman Tarik Badwan says of them stepping away from the hype; “Labels and journalists were quick to assume we had a certain sound and wanted to have an influence on that.”

The album has a wide range of influences from sub-generes and shows a band that are completely in their own field, doing what they like with it working well! The ten track album includes new single Hate whoch you can listen to below;

Loom tracklisting;

1. Lice
2. Hate
3. Get A Taste
4. Leopard
5. Salt
6. Seasick
7. Bleed On Me
8. Nailbender
9. Barbed Wire
10. Slowly Freezing Heart
