Manchester alt-rockers Landmarks have released the video for Cutting Strings. The track is taken from the band’s forthcoming third EP. In Spite of it All is set for release via Scylla Records on August 12.
Bassist and co-vocalist Adam Long says of the track; “It features the lyrics that we are most proud of in any song we’ve written up to this point.” He continues explaining the beginning is a line from Marvel film Avengers: Age of Ultron; “From there we started to develop the story of a relationship on the rocks, with one half of the couple in question falling out of love with their partner. Too many couples expect so much from one another without stepping back and appreciating the little things and the time we get to spend with those close to us.”
