London emo-punks KidBrother have released their latest single! The track is titled A Draught I Want and is an arena-ready anthem with a massive chorus!
Taking influence from the likes of Letlive, Circa Survive and Alexisonfire, the bands’ dual vocal assault of frontman Jamie Carrington’s gravelly tones and bassist Ffin Colley’s pitch-perfect melodies alongside the heavy backdrop of their instrumentation leaves you wanting more!
Bassist Ffin Colley says of the track; “‘A Draught I Want’ is a song about opportunity. It’s about when you have a door slammed so violently in your face, violent enough to crack the frame, it will often blow out the window behind you. All it takes to seize that opportunity is a slight repositioning, adjustment of your perspective and the decision to continue.
“I tried to present the lyrics in a way that honestly reflected how I feel when I struggle creatively, how there’s always an inner conflict and how it has (so far) always resolved the same.”
