Loud Women Fest Newport

Loud Women will be bringing their festival to Newport with a great lineup!
Cassie Fox, founder of Loud Women Fest, said:
“We’ve wanted to bring a full LOUD WOMEN Fest to Wales for a long time, and Newport feels like exactly the right home for it.
“There’s such a brilliant grassroots music community here. What I love about this lineup is that we’ve got artists from Newport and Cardiff sharing stages with musicians coming from across the UK, Europe and the USA.
“That’s what LOUD WOMEN is all about. It’s not just one day of bands. It’s about connecting DIY music communities, creating new friendships and opportunities, and giving brilliant grassroots artists the platform they deserve.”
THE LINEUP
1blackfrend – Jacksonville, Florida indie rock trio turning dark introspection into loud, hook-packed and cathartic songs.
Cape Orange – London DIY alternative pop band, with a Newport-born drummer, bringing huge vocals, huge drums and unapologetically hooky songs.

emmy woods – Saint Paul, Minnesota singer-songwriter blending country, folk and blues with sharp storytelling and an ethereal voice.

Lady Garden – Cardiff riot grrrl four-piece combining fierce DIY punk with a commitment to supporting women and marginalised genders in grassroots music.
Local Rainbow – Cardiff bilingual artist creating dreamy experimental bedroom pop in Welsh and English about relationships, neurodivergence and modern womanhood.
ScareBears – Bristol anti-fascist feminist punk trio pairing aggressive riffs and noisy melodies with songs confronting misogyny and far-right politics.
SheBeat – Leith singer-songwriter serving lovable lo-fi indie pop, and a LOUD WOMEN radio host, festival producer and community cheerleader.
