Defects

Defects have been added to a tour with Allegaeon and Gorod.
Defects vocalist Tony Maue said: “We’re absolutely buzzing to get out on this UK tour. This is a new chapter for Defects with the newly formed line-up, and it’ll be our first tour with Rowan and Orlando, so it really feels like the start of something exciting for us.
“Six shows, six chances to show people what this new version of Defects is all about. We’re ready to get out there, make some noise and give everything we’ve got every night. See you in the pit!”

Beyond Extinction/Salem Trials

Beyond Extinction have teamed up with Salem Trials for a co-headline UK tour!
Beyond Extinction guitarist Danny Russel said: “We’re grateful to be touring with Salem Trials around the UK in March 2027, they’re a very heavy band coming all the way from Canada growing their audience like us and we’re excited to have the boys here in the UK. We’ve been sat on some new material for a minute now so I’m excited to play these new songs live on this run.”
Salem Trials’ drummer Zack Bray said: “Salem Trials and Beyond Extinction touring the UK in 2027 is a step in the right direction for a group of Canadian musicians like us. Performing in the UK with a serious band such as BE is the logical next step for us to help solidify our career as international touring musicians and we hope that all the fans who listen to our music come out and enjoy it with us.”

Solitary
Solitary will tour the UK later this year to celebrate 30 years as a band.
They’ll be playing their album Hatred in full.
Solitary frontman Rich Sherrington said: “We’re trying to recreate that buzz we all felt when we first went to gigs and give the fans an experience that will stay with them after the show. We’ve tried to recreate some of the things that made the hairs stand on end for metal fans of our age back In the day.“
Bassist Gaz Harrop said: “Rich and I had plenty of conversations about what we felt were the key things that would have made for the ultimate concert experience when we were teenagers – and tried to make them happen for this tour. The post gig blues are a serious issue and we know a signed poster or a set list used to help us – and then we thought ‘what about a special tour CD or a one off event shirt?’ Things to keep the chords ringing once everyone has left the venue.”
Solitary drummer Roy Miller outlines the thinking behind the free tour programme that the band are making available to advance ticket buyers: “Its great if people have the disposable income to buy enhanced ticket packages, but when we’re on that stage everyone is equally important to us and that’s why we’re giving all advance ticket holders a complementary tour program.“
Guitarist Andy Mellor explains the thinking behind the silicone wristbands: “I’ve always detested the black marker ‘X’ that you get branded with at shows! So we’ve produced silicone tour wrist bands for everyone who attends – marker pens are only going to be used for us to sign your stuff!”
