Following on from the announcement of the 2019 headliners, Download Festival have revealed the next wave of bands to perform at the festival!
Slayer will be using the festival for their final UK show as they bring an end to their 37 year career! After 30 years, The Smashing Pumpkins will be making their Download festival debut while 10 years after their last appearance, Dream Theater will return!
Lamb Of God are bringing their groove back while Eagles Of Death Metal appear for a second time. Maori-metallers Alien Weaponry are joined by heavy metal legends Anthrax. Badflower bring the brooding rock whereas Black Futures will get the punks going. Blackberry Smoke give a Country tint and I Prevail ramp things up a notch with their enchanting post-hardcore. The Interrupters and Jinjer make an appearance and they are joined by Japanese sensation Man With A Mission!
Genre benders nothing,nowhere and US post-hardcore stars Our Last Night are set to excite the crowds, along with Burton-On-Trent’s Riding The Low! Royal Republic join pop-punk heavyweights State Champs who return.
Underside and Whitechapel are set to turn things up a notch in heaviness while Zebrahead and Yours Truly bring a party atmosphere!
They join the already announced headliners Def Leppard, Tool and Slipknot, Slash with Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators, Whitesnake, Die Antwood, Rob Zombie, Trivium, Amon Amarth, Carcass, Delain, Me First And The Gimme Gimmes, Opeth, Power Trip, Reel Big Fish, Skindred, Starset, Tesla, The Amity Affliction and Underoath.
Download Festival takes place at Donington Park between June 14-16, 2019!
