Singer songwriter Tom Lumley is everywhere right now. From small town gigs to festival line ups, his name keeps popping up here and there. But which albums really get him going? Tom took on our Desert Island Discs and gave us his ultimate album choices.

1. The Kooks – Inside in inside out

I’d have to go with this one as it was a massive point in growing up for me where I started to find what I wanted my own music to sound like and that Indie/Rock was the way forward for myself.

2. Catfish and The Bottlemen – The Balcony

Hands down my favourite album of all time. There’s not a single thing i’d change about this album, to me it is perfection.

3. Arctic Monkeys – What ever people say I am, that’s what i’m not

To be honest I could’ve picked all 5 Arctic Monkeys simply because i’m a bit of a fan girl haha. This album for me though is flawless from start to finish and has many iconic songs which will for ever be anthems for my generation.

4. Nothing But Thieves – Nothing But Thieves

These boys are one of my favourite bands at the minute. Every single track on this album is an absolute banger, definitely no album fillers on this one. I genuinely believe these boys will go on to be one of the biggest bands in the world.

5. Royal Blood – Royal Blood

What an amazing debut album this one is from these lads. This album definitely helped push the rockier side tony own music and has had an influence on me recently. The album left me wanting more and I can not wait for the second album.
