Choosing only a handful of albums to listen to for the rest of your life is a tricky task. This time it was the turn of alt rocker Linda Battiani of Halflives.
After thinking for like a lifetime about this and still mourning the albums that I had to discard, here’s my collection of albums I’d take on a desert island:
“Fallen” by Evanescence and “Riot!” by Paramore
Both are amazing albums that marked me in my teenage years. I found refuge in them many times and in many situations. I connect many songs to many feelings and moments I went through back then. They’d definitely deserve a place in my bag wherever I’d have to go. I put them in the same line because they’re both part of the same process of me growing up and starting to have a different perspective on the world.
“Nothing Personal” by All Time Low
It’s a pleasant album that I’m always happy to play every time I listen to it. I love the production, from the guitar sound to the vocal lines and over time, it’s still a great album to me.
“White Noise” by PVRIS and “That’s The Spirit” by Bring Me The Horizon
I’d rather put those two together as well as they’re both part of my recent favorite albums in the “new generation” alternative music. They both brought something new into this scene and revealed something that had not been done before, which I always find interesting, so they deserve the success they’re having and they deserve a place in my bag!
