Danny Worsnop has had a busy couple of years, leaving Asking Alexandria for We Are Harlot, leaving Asking Alexandria before seemingly rejoining the band. However that aside. Danny has announced his debut solo album!

The Long Road Home (out February 17, 2017 on Earache Records) ads another string to Danny’s bow as he ventures even further from his metal roots with Asking into a Country/Blues album. The Brit has made no secret of his love of Country since moving to Nashville, home to some of the genre’s most favoured acts.

Danny says of the record; “With the help of some incredible and very talented people, I am pleased to announce that in 2017 I will be releasing my first album as a solo artist. It has been an emotional roller-coaster creating these songs, but the end result has left me humbled, proud, and more excited about a project than I ever have been in my life”. An emotional rollercoaster it may be as the record delves deeper into the mysterious mind of Danny Worsnop, touching on everything from loss to drugs and alcohol.
