Alt rockers Carry The Crown released their second EP, Not Alone, on March 2nd. Although not strictly speaking a conceptual release, the EP does follow a rough theme following the important choices you make and the chances you could take in life. They also dropped a video for the song Hold Me.
Speaking about the song, the band commented:
“‘Hold Me’ is a track that came to life after a few personal discussions within the band about experiences we have shared at different times in our lives. Lyrically, it follows a path that many people find themselves on where you want to shout out for help but feel unable. The chorus is the voice of support wherever it may come from, offering that help and reassurance that you’re not the only one who suffers and it is essential to ask for help when you need it”
Discussing the EP as a whole, they say:
“This EP means the world to us. It is the culmination of over a year of passion and hard work to get to this point. We are immensely proud of every track, each for different reasons. We believe we have put together something for everyone, in our own style, that really says what we intended it to. We can’t wait for people to hear it and hear the response”
