North-East punks Boy Jumps Ship have revealed their version of Darlene Love‘s Christmas classic All Alone On Christmas! All proceeds from the track will go to mental health charity MIND!
Drummer Gav Gates says; “The whole idea of this project was just to have a bit of fun with some music and film that we love and join the two to hopefully create a great end product that ultimately makes people, laugh and nod along, whilst raising some money for the MIND charity.
The idea for the video stems from a couple of years ago when we went to a halloween party as the cast of Home Alone and all of our friends told us how much we looked like them. We just thought ‘Let’s take this to the next level and cover the song with an awesome video’. We are also huge believers in supporting mental health and would love to do our bit to raise awareness of the issue, especially around a time of year when people can feel very lonely”
