Bristol-based Alt Rock trio Blank Atlas have released a new live video of them performing their song, Buried.

The video features them playing at Thekla, a prestigious venue in Bristol. Vocalist/Guitarist, Dan Thould said; “Playing at Thekla is always so fun as the crowd are always so lovely, the fact that the venue is a boat is so cool and weird at the same time…”.

The video also gives you an insight of their live shows. Bassist, Chris Simpson said “We’re gonna be doing a bunch of shows in August so hopefully the video will make you excited for them, we definitely are. It’s also nice that people get to see the little imperfections you might not hear anywhere else. Recordings etc are usually made to perfection so hopefully that’s a nice aspect for people.

Buried features on upcoming EP due to be released in October. Drummer, Tom Thould said; “We’re so excited for everyone to hear this new release as it’s the best thing we’ve done so far in our career, it was so much fun to record too as we had our lovely producer friend, Neil Kennedy working on it!”.

Hi I'm Gareth, A foolish Welshman that has found himself living in Scotland. I adore live music and this all started back in University when a friend dragged me along to my first gig and I saw Travis. From then on I spent a lot of time going to see bands from rubbish uni bands that had formed one drunken night to the mighty Blur. When I finished uni there was a 10 year gap between gigs (long story). Now though, on any given day of the week I can be found in the venues of Glasgow. With regards to my music taste I love anything with great lyrics and heavy drums. When I was younger (and still am) I was obsessed with a band called Alisha's Attic.
When not at a gig I will be found at my computer playing games like Prison Architect, Hearthstone and Wolfenstein.
