Band App Winners For Truck Festival Unveiled!

The long awaited Band App results are here, acts have been hand picked by judges including BBC Introducing Oxford, Lucy Rose and Clubhouse Records to ensure only most worthy take to the stage for Truck Festival.

The long awaited Band App results are here, acts have been hand picked by judges including BBC Introducing Oxford, Lucy Rose and Clubhouse Records to ensure only most worthy take to the stage for Truck Festival, 17th – 18th July, Oxford. Over 1000 artists applied with only 19 going on to secure a slot a long side some of the greats in Indie, Pop and Rock.

On July 17th – 18th the two day Truck festival rolls in to Oxford with a whole host of lucky handpicked special guests, now including unsigned and upcoming talent sourced through the festival’s Band App. Indie label Alcopop and BSM Recording Company have plucked out indie rockers Gang and Dingus Khan from the masses to help provide some energy to the line-up. Barn Stage headliner Pulled Apart By Horses selected Rickyfitts as their top pick, whilst BBC Introducing Oxford judged Ballon Ascent, Death of Hi-Fi, Little Brother Eli, Orange Vision, Rainbow Reservoir, Too Many Poets and Water Pageant to be worthy of stage time. Americana and Folk rooted Clubhouse Records went on to back Frankie Teardrop Dead, Passport to Stockholm, The Fruitful Earth and Knights of Mentis. Truck Festival decided upon Wallflower, Delora, Sulky Boy, and FEVER as their winning applicants, whilst Market Stage artist Lucy Rose lovingly selected Fox Chapel.

Over 1000 artists applied to play at Truck via the Band App with hopes of being part of the most interesting and exciting line-up to date, Truck has always been a huge supporter of young talented artists and this year makes no exception. The stages are full, the artists are confirmed and now Truck awaits what is set to be its biggest audience to date.

This two-day celebration of music encompasses everything we have come to love from past, present and future. The headline slots are filled with chart topping basement Jaxx and The Charlatans with many others such as Darwin Deez, Ghostpoet, Rae Morris, Eagulls, Honeyblood plus much more.
