Deepest lyric one of your songs features?

From Moved:

if i mourn on a rocket and chuck all my bags

would i still hear the sadness inside of your laugh?

if i opened my eyes and the marquee was gone

would i flutter along like a string in a pond?

if i cloaked all emotions in oceans of grey

would the colors return in an awesome display?

would i ever know me to extents unexplored

if you stood by the door?

Key to writing a song?

Get out of your own way. Write down anything that comes into your head; whether it’s a word you like or a phrase you overheard in a conversation or a passage in a book. Revisit it when you’re noodling around with chords and put a melody to it. I find it’s a great way to stick to a topic.

Quote that you’d like to pass on to our readers?

“If you tell the truth, you don’t have to remember anything.” – Mark Twain

Reason for the title of your forthcoming release?

One evening, during my first year living in LA (2019), I went out to a surf-themed bar in Venice. After a few beers, I made my way to the bathroom. As I was peeing, I took a moment to glance at all of the posters/art on the walls. One caught my eye in particular. It read: Hang Ten Colors to Catch the Sun. What an awesome combination of words! I wrote it down so I wouldn’t forget it. It ended up being the perfect name for this collection of songs.

See me live at?

Coming soon!

The old days of music were better than the current, do you agree?
