A song that made you want to make music?

Truth Hits EverybodyPolice.

Best rider you’ve had?

Buffalo Mac and Cheese and unlimited water at Asbury Lanes.

Craziest moment you’ve had in the band?

Locking our gear in a running vehicle moments before we had to set up and go live on a radio station at in Albany.

Deepest lyric one of your songs features?

This one from the upcoming record: “I don’t think I have a second to breathe, I wish that I had a message to leave”.

Easiest song you wrote?

Shine on Me. Woke up with the entire thing in my head already it was like some sort of thing I heard in a dream if that makes sense.

Favourite song in your set?

Dismay or Daydreams, everyone always goes crazy and dances.

Guest you’d most like to feature on your record?

Kurt Ballou from Converge or Jeremy McKinnon from A Day To Remember.

Hardest thing about being in a band?

Trying to get everyone to agree on things.

Interesting fact about one of your members?

Teresa is the only trained musician in the entire band.

Jokes you have in the band?

John Scatman AKA THE Scatman.

Key to writing a song?

Substance, lyrics. You have to believe what you’re writing for it to come across genuine.

Longest distance you’ve travelled to play a show?

Albany.

Most inspiring musician you’ve experienced?

Billy Corgan or James Hetfield, his presence and crowd control is intoxicating.

New band you’d recommend?

Lunar Vacation or First Joy.

Opening for this band would be ideal?

Citizen or Superheaven.

Place you’d most like to tour?

Either the West Coast or out of the country, eventually.

Quote you’d like to pass on to our readers?

“Music is the strongest form of magic.”

Reason for the title of your recent/forthcoming release?

Above Us All”, it’s that moment when everything sort of clicks and you start seeing the bigger picture that there is so much more than us.

The old days of music were better than the current, do you agree?

The energy is definitely different, it feels more competitive these day, not as much of a tight community.

Unusual merchandise?

We made condoms one time.

Variations you’d like to do on any of your songs?

We do a super fun reggae jam of Call Me Back at practice ALL the time.

What do your fans mean to you?

Everything. We can’t do this without them.

X-rays or any treatments needed for band related injuries?

A few of us have needed ongoing chiropractic visits after shows.

You’re late for a show, whose fault is it?

We are all unfortunately guilty of making each other late, we take turns.

Zoo animal that next describes the personality of your band?

Definitely a gorilla.
