A song which made you want to write music?
Jezza: Feeder – Seven Days In The Sun. It’s just one of those songs that takes me back to summer in a heartbeat.

Dan: Beer, Whiskey & Haribo
Craziest moment your experienced in the band?
Scott: Our first show supporting Lacey. The crowd was bangin’ and they were singing back to us!
Deepest lyrics one of your songs features?
Jezza: Dead Happy is pretty deep haha;
“Will I be there,

Will I be dead
When I’m happy.”
Will I be there mentally, will I be scared of the situation, will I be brain dead from all the pills when I’m happy. The songs about bouncing back in life, learning to love yourself & kicking the meds that can make you seemingly lifeless.
Easiest song you wrote?
Paul: Love Again, Jezz and I were jamming in a studio in Manchester and we formed a verse and hook within 20 mins. The rest is…. the future.
Favourite song in your set?
Dan: Partial to a bit of Counterpart or Art Of Falling Down

Jezza: Easy Oli Sykes or Grant Nicholas
Dan: Nah for me its Keith Buckley from ETID
Hardest thing about being in a band?
Scott: Giving up on my tiddlywinks career. Na there’s highs and lows but you just gotta work hard to keep things on a high.
Interesting fact about one of your members?
Jezza: Dan was the under 13’s bog snorkelling world champion at 15…. so they say.
Jokes you have in the band?
Dan: Probably Paul.
Paul: Yeah, me!
Key to writing a song?
If you have to force it, you need to fuck it all off! The best songs will come to you naturally. Whether it’s be lyrics first or the dopest riff, let it flow naturally – if it lacks edge, look at how your idols do it. Don’t be scared to learn.
Longest distance you’ve travelled to play a show?
Dan: 200 miles or nearabouts. Much further shows pending haha
Most inspiring musician you’ve experienced?
Jezza: Every member of No Devotion are up there.
Dan: it’s Jason Aalon Butler
Jezza: yeah actually, the guys like a human dynamo.
New band you’d recommend?
Jezza: Jetlines but I’m biased.

Paul: The US. Who doesn’t? We called our album CALI for a reason.
Dan: Barnsley!

Reason for the title of your forthcoming release?
Jezza: Dan just got back from travelling California and Nevada and it’s been a long goal of ours to take our music to Cali. California dreaming on the other side of the world. And our music aligns with American Alt Rock so yeah pretty straight forward, no sneaky secret meaning behind it haha.

The old days of music were better than the current, do you agree?
Jezza: Music is ever changing, obviously all the bangers are in the past, there’s always decent bands about trying to make their mark on history.

Scott: I’m sure Shadows Like Strangers Crocs has been mentioned.
Dan: Pauls got his own line of lightbulbs…. sorry lamps, definitely lamps.
Paul: Too right!

Variations you’d like to do on any of your tracks?
Scott: We’ve started doing acoustic/stripped back versions of A Way Home but Coast To Coast is totally overdue a remix.
What do your fans mean to you?
Jezza: Everything, me and the boys have been to hell and back. Our fans, friends and family have been there through thick and thin, releases or radio silence, we hope this album gives something back.
X-rays or any other treatments needed for band related injuries?
About a month of RnR after every show. We go big! There’s too many aliments to list haha.
You’re late for a show, whose fault is it?
Dan: Jezza’s all though Paul would be late for the set even if he’s on site.

Jezza: An ocelot, google it!
