You saw the cryptic message announcing the introduction of Death Spells and now you can get a taste of what it’s all about. Debut album Nothing Above, Nothing Below is set for release via Vagrant Records on July 29. This record has been in the works for a long time, being record by Frank Iero and James Dewees between 2012 and 2016!
You can get a taste of the album with track Why Is Love So Disastrous? which premiered on Daniel P. Carter’s Radio 1 Rock Show yesterday (June 26). You can listen to it again here.
James says; “DEATH SPELLS is very different from anything we have done in the past collectively. It’s noisy, it’s angry, it’s beauty, it’s the monster you don’t want to look at yet can’t look away.”
Frank adds; “This DEATH SPELLS record has been something I’ve wanted for 4 years. The initial band started back in 2012 in an apartment in North Hollywood, California, and because life sometimes gets in the way it has taken a back seat to other projects James and I have been working on. But I knew I could not go any further until these songs were revealed, and now death spells’ time has finally come.”
Tickets are on sale now for the bands’ debut world tour, which includes six dates across the world in just one week!
