Bazooka Troopaz take on the A-Z challenge

Our A-Z challenge is a fun way to get to know the many bands and artists out there. Here it’s the turn of Bazooka Troopaz to tell us about themselves!

In today’s A-Z challenge, we bring you all you need to know about Bazooka Troopaz, from the band themselves!

A song that made you want to make music?

W.A.S.P.Chainsaw Charlie, just a complete masterpiece

Best rider you’ve had?

Frankie often brings some Monkey Brew beer (local beer company in Norway) to gigs, so that always make our backstage a bit extra sexy. We’ll drink whatever the rider has at the venue, but having a drummer who works for a beer company is pretty sweet.

Craziest moment you’ve had in the band?

Since we’re a pretty new band yet, we don’t have some super wild stories yet. First thing that comes to mind was having two guest apperances that Sgt Summers booked at our debut gig without informing the rest of the band.

Deepest lyric one of your songs features?

“I’ll take you to school, you calorie counting fool, Im a led pipe to the face” from Zookafied comes to mind.

Easiest song you wrote?

All have been pretty easy actually, we never use a long time on a BT song.

Favourite song in your set?

Beer Slam is always a banger.

Guest you’d most like to feature on your record?

Hm, a Paul Baloff cameo would be the ultimate for BT (RIP).

Hardest thing about being in a band?

Resisting the urge to kill the other members.

Interesting fact about one of your members?

Frankie sometimes get his dick signed after gigs.

Jokes you have in the band?

Too juicy to share.

Key to writing a song?

For a BT song it’s all about a sexy riff and we work around that sexy main riff.

Longest distance you’ve travelled to play a show?

Donnie and Frankie once played Wacken Open Air which was a long and grueling travel, we had beer though so it worked out.

Most inspiring musician you’ve experienced?

Hm, no one really comes to mind

New band you’d recommend?

Pest Control

Opening for this band would be ideal?

Hm, not sure. Maybe Municipal Waste or something would be a good match for BT.

Place you’d most like to tour?

South America would be wild

Quote you’d like to pass on to our readers?

“Wimps and posers, leave the hall” by the immortal Manowar.

Reason for the title of your recent/forthcoming release?

Scandinavian Head Splitter is just a kickass name for an album, so we went for it.

See us live at?

Nothing announced yet, but maybe something will be announced soon!

The old days of music were better than the current, do you agree?

Of course, doesn’t everyone?

Unusual merchandise?

Nothing planned yet, but a Bazooka Troopaz fanny-pack would be sweet

Variations you’d like to do on any of your songs?

A jazz reindition of any of our songs would probably work

What do your fans mean to you?

Ofcourse we love the awesome supporters of BT!

X-rays or any treatments needed for band related injuries?

Probably gonna be some cracked skulls in the near future

You’re late for a show, whose fault is it?

Alcohol

Zoo animal that next describes the personality of your band?

I think baboon would be the best description
