HOT TAKES: Getting to know Rarity!

Welcome to the feature; Hot Takes! We chat to a band or artist that we have unearthed as some what of a hidden gem and allow them the chance to introduce themselves to you, the reader.

Answered by Cole Gardner.

Q1 – Who is in your band?

Adam Clarke on guitar, Evanéscence Woods on drums, Cole Gardner on bass, Corbin Giroux on his Corbin shit & Loeden Learn on vocals.

Q2 – What is your take on your own sound?

Angry and emotional with a polished produced touch, so my Mom can say “oh I could hear this being on the radio!”

Q3 – If someone was listening to your music for the first time, what song would you tell them to listen to and why?

Leave It Alone’, it’s our strongest work as a group. I feel like it shows you a hint of where we want to go as a band and how we plan to get there sonically.

Q4 – What is the plan for 2020?

Sitting extensively, actively writing our best work to date, might get back into growing peppers, might just watch Loeden’s Twitch stream.

Q5 – What is the one song you wish you wrote?

Anything by The Beatles so I could have stifled their career. I hate The Beatles.

Q6 – What three bands inspired or continue to inspire you the most?

My Chemical Romance, Seaway & the Halo soundtrack. We are big reverb and fuzz fans.

Q7 – Where can our readers see you live or listen to your music?

On that good ol’ W W W Dot, baby!

Q8 – If your band was an animal, what would it be and why?

A liger. It’s pretty much my favorite animal. It’s like a lion and a tiger mixed. It’s bred for its skills in magic.
