Hot Takes: Getting to know Great American Ghost

Welcome to the feature; Hot Takes! We chat to a band or artist that we have unearthed as some what of a hidden gem and allow them the chance to introduce themselves to you, the reader.

Q1 – Who is in your band?

Ethan Harrison – Vocals

Niko Gaspirinni – Guitar

Joey Perron- Bass

Davier Perez – Drums

Q2 – What is your take on your own sound?

I would say that we are a metal band. I think that we are certainly influenced by hardcore, especially myself, but when it really comes down to it, we are a metal band at heart. Just a very pissed off one.

Q3 – If someone was listening to your music for the first time, what song would you tell them to listen to and why?

Altar of Snakes. We all feel like that song is us at our core. It is simplistic and angry, hopefully catchy, while also being technically detailed. That song is Great American Ghost.

Q4 – What is the plan for 2020?

Hopefully take over the world

Q5 – What is the one song you wish you wrote?

You’ve Seen The ButcherDeftones. Sexiest heavy song ever written.

Q6 – What three bands inspired or continue to inspire you the most?

Pantera, Gojira, Slipknot

Q7 – Where can our readers see you live or listen to your music?

EVERYWHERE! Go save the record to Spotify or Apple Music and see us on tour for the next two years straight.

Q8 – If your band was an animal, what would it be and why?

I’d say we’re a shoe billed stork. Too weird.
