Introducing: Pocket Apocalypse

Pocket Apocalypse are turning their differences into their strengths as they artfully interweave post-rock, math-rock and progressive influences into an anthemic sound that often defies expectation.

Finding themselves out on a limb in the city of Liverpool – not known for its kindness to alternative rock bands – Pocket Apocalypse are turning their differences into their strengths as they artfully interweave post-rock, math-rock and progressive influences into an anthemic sound that often defies expectation.

Already drawing early comparisons with the likes of Oceansize, Arcane Roots, ASIWYFA and Queens Of The Stone Age, their individuality on the local scene has helped them to secure a host of support slots with the likes of MinionTV, This Town Needs Guns, Cleft, Victor Villarreal, God Damn, Fatherson and many more. The band have also played sets at Liverpool Sound City, Newpath Festival and Fringe Festivals with several more already lined up for 2015.

‘The Missing Piece’ is the first taster from the band’s forthcoming debut album ‘Under Our Sky’ – watch the video here:
