Lost In Kyiv – We’re All Going to be Fine

Lost In Kyiv will release new album We’re All Going to be Fine on June 19 through Pelagic Records.
The band said: “We almost consider this album as the first record of a new version of the band. That’s why we decided to use the name Lost in Kyiv now. We don’t want to erase the past, but it really feels like a new direction. The choice of spelling ‘Kyiv’ instead of Kiev felt natural to us. We use this spelling more often now and feel it aligns better with our values and how we see the situation. We had been thinking about it for a long time, but we needed the right moment in the band’s history to do it. It’s a change, but it’s still clear that we are the same band. Artistically, I think this album marks the beginning of a new direction, louder and more metal-oriented than what we did before.
“We’re All Going To Be Fine explores the tension between hope and inner collapse, and how modern life can disconnect us from ourselves and each other. The songs were inspired by personal experiences, societal pressure, and the idea that we often become our own worst enemy. We were also inspired by the work of Carl Gustav Jung (who is the voice at the end of the album), especially his ideas about exploring the human psyche, as well as themes from movies like Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind or Melancholia.
“We always wanted to write music around strong themes, and for the first time, we decided to focus on something more internal than on previous albums. This time, we wanted to explore the fragility of mental health and the human psyche, the relation we have with ourself.”

AXTY – The Pain Made Me Who I Am

AXTY will release new album The Pain Made Me Who I Am on August 21 through Napalm Records.
The band said: “The Pain Made Me Who I Am revolves around human emotions, particularly the darker, more difficult ones. However, rather than dwelling on suffering, we focused on the role these emotions play in personal growth and self-evolution. Resilience born from adversity, the idea that growth and self-discovery are deeply rooted in struggle, we wanted to explore how negative experiences, rather than defining us in a limiting way, become the very foundation of who we are.”

Motionless In White – Decades
Motionless In White will release new album Decades on July 17 through Roadrunner Records.
The album – the band’s heaviest – marks 20 years since MIW’s formation and includes guest features from Corey Taylor, Skylar Grey, and Anthony Martinez.
Frontman Chris Motionless said: “We were never afraid to take risks.
“This band has not only lasted two decades, but we’ve also outlasted all of the obstacles we’ve faced. We’re still grinding. No matter how far we expand the universe that is Motionless In White, we’re going to preserve the heart, soul, and roots of where we came from. We are never going to abandon heartfelt, emotional, and heavy songs. We are never going to abandon what mattered to us the most when we started.
“We’re finding new ways to emphasize those stories with exciting sounds and looks, but the vision is the same. It’s always been this grand, dramatic, and theatrical entity. I’m proud we haven’t gotten comfortable.
“Decades is definitely heavier than some of our past albums. Our current world bred more aggressive energy, anger, and resistance.”
