Crooked Finger – Swet Death

Credit: Jason Thrasher
Crooked Finger will release new album Swet Death on February 27, 2026, on Merge Records.
The album is the first in 15 years and was named after an image Eric Bachmann’s young son had created (which is also the album artwork).
He said: “There were crows and sinister figures with scythes and tombstones, and in the center, there was a strange, lush green tree growing out of all of this red and black. On one of them, he had written ‘DETH, SWET DETH,’ and everything clicked in my head.
“What I was writing wasn’t mellow like a solo album.
“It was heavy, and it made me wish that I had a band. So, I hired Jeremy Wheatley to play drums, and I didn’t tell him what to play. In that moment, it became more of a collaboration, more of a band, and it felt natural to call that band Crooked Fingers.”

Gogol Bordello – We Mean it, Man!

Credit: Emanuela Giurano
Gogol Bordello will release new album We Mean it, Man! on February 13, 2026.
Frontman Eugene Hütz said: “Gogol Bordello has always been a cross-pollinator. And ‘We Mean It Man!’ brings all our original inspirations together more than any other: punk, gypsy music, hardcore, and techno. I conceived this album as a collaboration with one of my favorite producers of all time, Nick Launay, who’s been so much responsible for the flourishing of post-punk as a genre. In terms of boiled down multimedia collage this is the best Frankenstein we’ve done since Gypsy Punks. This is our post-punk groove revenge”.
Tracklist:
We Mean It, Man!
Life Is Possible Again
No Time For Idiots
Hater Liquidator
Boiling Point (ft. Grace Bergere)
Ignition
From Boyarka to Boyaca (ft. Puzzled Panther)

Solidarity (Nick Launay mix ft. Bernard Sumner)

Converge – Love is Not Enough

Credit: Jason Zucco
Converge will release new album Love is Not Enough on February 13, 2026.
The band say the record has no guests, and no trickery. Vocalist Jacob Bannon said: “I think that realism is missing from a lot of modern music of any genre, but especially our genre.
“Things either go super raw and almost chaotic to the point where it’s distracting, or bands take the life out of what they’re doing by editing every aspect. Sometimes the perfect take is the one that has some wildness to it. It’s not perfectly executed. There’s a lot of powerful moments on this record and a lot of angry moments. The realism amplifies that.
“It does a thing that no other Converge record does – it keeps ramping up.
“And that’s definitely by design. Internally, we passed around dozens of ideas for sequencing because everyone interprets music differently, and there’s no right way of doing it. When we do that, we always joke that we all have to be equally unhappy. But this is the one that works.”
Tracklist:
Love Is Not Enough
Bad Faith
Distract and Divide
To Feel Something
Beyond Repair
Amon Amok
Force Meets Presence
Gilded Cage
Make Me Forget You
We Were Never The Same
