In this week’s Gig Guide, we bring you eight lots of tour dates or one-off shows.
The dates, all announced in the last couple of weeks, are for alternative acts and will be taking place across the UK and Ireland.
Black Spiders
Black Spiders will be on tour in the UK in April. The tour is in support of new album Cvrses (February 28 through Dark Riders Label via Cargo Distribution).

W.A.S.P
W.A.S.P will be in the UK later this year for a run of dates.
The shows are under the Album One Alive tour which celebrates 40 years of the album.
Frontman Blackie Lawless said: “This is the tour that showcases the album that started the long, long undying bond between the band and to all the fans in your countries where all our international success first began 40 years ago. It was an angry record made by an angry band. It was a record that not only reflected the attitude of the band members who made it, but also a record that reflected its time.”
He continues: “This tour showcases for the first time, that landmark first album, played in its entirety, from top to bottom, most likely never to be repeated ever again. So be there and see these Winged Assassins, and witness this once in a lifetime event.”
Armored Saint will support on the September run.

RedHook will be on their first UK headline tour later this year!
Vocalist Emmy Mack said: “I don’t think we’ll ever get used to the feeling of going to the other side of the world and seeing a room full of people singing our songs back to us.
“We’re excited AF to finally be putting our big boy pants on and returning to give UK and EU fans their first full RedHook live show experience and celebrate the new album with our first ever headline shows! It’s about time!! We can’t wait to make some bad decisions with you all.”

The Darkness will play two special shows later this year!
Aside from March’s UK tour, the band has announced two shows where they will play new album Dreams on Toast in full as well as a set of their greatest hits.

Bowling For Soup
Bowling For Soup will be headlining Wembley Arena later this year!
Jaret Reddick said: “Wembley…What can I say?!? When we first started playing the UK in 2000, you could never have told me that one day, we would be headlining the coveted Wembley Arena! More over, that it would take us 30 years to get there!! I don’t have a bucket list anymore.
“My dreams have all come true. I have a beautiful family, I’m still making people smile, and the future is bright. But let’s just say there is a little part of me that still has some things to mark off…Wembley is at the top.”
Wheatus and Punk Rock Factory will be supporting.

Mouth Culture
Mouth Culture has revealed a number of headline shows to go alongside their supporting slot with You Me At Six!
The band said: “After one hell of a 2024 – Manchester Academy with The Blackout, a sold out UK headline tour supporting our debut EP ‘Mishaps Of My Mid Twenties’, a European run in the first half of the year, making debut appearances on the UK festival circuit with packed tents at the likes of Download, Truck Festival and 2000trees, and ending the year with a new EP ‘Whatever The Weather’, supported by a headline UK tour, back to back with a three week tour in Europe supporting You Me At Six – we are starting 2025 as we mean to go on. Bigger, better and hungrier. We are also making our debut at Slam Dunk. We can’t wait to see you!”

Himalayas will be on the Bad Star tour in support of their new album of the same name (out April 25).
