Fall Out Boy – A Little Less Sixteen Candles, I used to listen to this album pretty much daily (and still do).
Best rider you’ve ever had?
P!nk Summer Carnival! Scott asked for a small wine, ended up with four large bottles of rose… and a cheeseburger.
Craziest thing you’ve experienced in the band?
There’s been a few nights that have gotten a bit out of hand, but nothing super wild! We’ve had some fans make us stuff for shows which is crazy as hell to see- we absolutely love it!
Deepest lyric one of your songs features?
Next to Me’s got alot of meaningful lines; “Waking up in seaside towns, screaming neck deep with the windows down” is probably one of my favourites- the track’s about the early days of my relationship with my (now) fiancee, that line always makes me smile.
Easiest song you wrote?
Worthy – we started with a rough skeleton from Leyland, but the entire crescendo & outro were done in a rehearsal session in an hour, still got the video of creating it.
Favourite song in your set?
Goosebumps – the crowd reaction we go from a super catchy chorus building into a breakdown is always brilliant to see.
Guest you’d most like to feature on your record?
If Adam Sandler doesn’t fancy it, then it’d have to be Charlie Simpson or Ben Barlow.
Hardest thing about being in a band?
Lugging all my gear around (Drummers answer).
Watching Daddy lug all his drums around while we’ve all got digital gear.
Interesting fact about one of your members?
One of us has their nipples tattooed, take a guess at our next show for a free wristband!

Ask Leyland really nicely.
Longest distance you’ve travelled to play a show?
Southampton – Not the biggest drive in the world, but ended up spending the night getting lit up on D&D themed drinks at the Hobbit, strongly recommended.
Most inspiring musician you’ve experienced?
As a band we all watched Electric Callboy at Slam Dunk and we were all just going nuts in the pits together, it was exactly the atmosphere we would want to create at a show.
New band you’d recommend?
Our boys in Northbound & Down, their new album is coming out this summer, it’s gonna be massive.
Opening for this band would be ideal?
We would love to play with some of the bands leading the way in pop punk at the minute! Opening for someone like State Champs or Neck Deep would be amazing!
Place you’d most like to tour?
We’d love to tour mainland Europe! Mostly because it’d be amazing, but also because Jack has to get an embarrassing tattoo due to a bet he’s placed with one of his colleagues.

Reason for the title of your recent/forthcoming release?
We went back and forth with it! The track was originally called Night Drive but we ended up switching it out, we felt Next to Me really nailed the feeling of the song.

The old days of music were better than the current, do you agree?
For bands like us the golden era was definitely 10-15 years ago but we are here now to try and bring it back to the glory days with a few flavours of our own and other excellent bands in the space.
Unusual merchandise?
If you’re lucky, we might sell you a temporary tattoo of a goose.
Variations you’d like to do of any of your songs?
DonkBumps, we really want to do an EDM/ Dubstep version of one of Goosebumps.
What do your fans mean to you?
Absolutely everything, this band means the world to us all and the fans who support us whether that be at shows, streaming our songs or buying our merch are the reason it’s all possible.
X-rays or any treatments needed for band related injuries?
Pretty much all of us have been to A&E about our ears, growing up in the scene without ear protectors was a mistake, tinnitus is well annoying.
You’re late for a show, whose fault is it?
Leyland, he can’t tell the time, he just uses the sun as a rough guide.
Zoo animal that best describes the personality of your band?
Red panda! Adorable but we gotta get a nap and some food in.
