If you were thinking of heading to Catton Park, Derbyshire between 10-13th August 2017 for Bloodstock Festival then this latest lineup announcement should definitely have you on your laptops booking your tickets right away (I’ll even help you out by putting the link for tickets here because I’m nice like that!).
There’s only three bands on this announcement, but to be honest, if there were anymore, we’d keel over from excitement and then wouldn’t even be able to attend (and no one wants that now do they?)!
First up on the announcement is Florida death metallers Obituary (okay, maybe they are expecting us to keel over any moment now…). The band will be joining the Sunday Ronnie James Dio main stage lineup and have a brand new album coming in early 2017! If you want a taste of what you can expect from them? Next we have Brujeria! The Mexican-Americans have just released their first album for 16 years and also join the main stage! You can check out their Viva Presidente Trump video below;
Finally Polish tech/death metallers Decapitated are set to join Friday’s lineup! Guitarist Vogg says; “We’re very excited to be returning to Bloodstock Festival – it will have been three years since our last time. We’re currently in the studio getting ready to unleash the monster we’ve been working on for the past twelve months and can’t wait to play some Polish metal for our UK fans next Summer!”
The three bands join Friday’s headliners AMON AMARTH, plus BLIND GUARDIAN, HATEBREED, TESTAMENT, WHITECHAPEL, POSSESSED and HELL with plenty more bands still to be announced!
