The Architects at the O2 academy in Bristol killing it as always. The band have been through quite a lot and progressed so far and do not seem to disappoint anyone when it comes to performing. From the start of their set to the very end, when they finally left after two encore songs, they had the whole crowd moving and absolutely alive. They opened strong with their new song ‘Nihilist‘ from new album ‘All Our Gods Have Abandoned Us‘ and kept their high professional level all the way to the end, finishing with ‘Gone With the Wind‘. If there is gonna be any band you are going to want to see, it is this one. Their support bands ‘Stick To Your Guns‘ and ‘Bury Tomorrow‘ started this night off by absolutely killing it with their sets getting the crowd moving and setting the place on fire, and then ‘Architects‘ absolutely smashing it giving the whole crowd a night never to forget. All three bands know how to please metal fanatics (with one large constant wall of death and a circle pit for the more violent metal heads in the middle) and people who are just getting into metal (giving them the outside and front rows) by giving an absolutely stellar performance. This is a night I would not have missed for the world and would do anything to see again! Architects are the band any new band will look at live and say “damn, I wanna be as insane and skilled as them”.
