Under Fire is a pop punk band from Derry, NH who have recently released an EP named “Blackout”.

The first track is full of inspiring lyrics that can be relatable in many of lifes situations. When one listens to a song, it can be understood in many different ways. What sticks out to ones ears, may not be the same as what sticks out to others. By far my favorite track on the EP! The lyrics are brilliant, “Afraid to be denied/You put your worst foot forward”. An amazing track that with each listen there are new meanings.
The next few tracks have a bit of a sped up tone, still layered with just enough guitar and drums. Lyrics hitting home again, truly intoxicating as each track plays. One can’t help but move their body to the rhythm.
While listening to the EP, its noticeable that this group of 5 have found their sound. Each track is very unique in its own way yet, throughout there is a notable style that I can’t seem to put into words.
Full of poetic meaning and complex feelings, this EP is worth the listen! Truly mesmerizing, I found myself coming back to it again and again. Anticipating the growth of Under Fire and what the future holds for the talented bunch. “Blackout” is available via iTunes, Pandora, YouTube, and Spotify.
