Mimi Barks has released a great single in Power durch Verrat which goes back to her German and rap roots and sees her sing in the language.
It was co-written with Sam Matlock of Wargasm.

“Stylistically it sits somewhere between The Crow and Natural Born Killers. I imagine a female protagonist walking into a strip club wearing full corpse paint and a white tanktop with cowgirl leather flare pants, confronting a past lover with a gun. It’s dark, sexual and romantic in a way and almost theatrical. Then there’s this image of her dancing on the dead body like a stripper, turning murder into performance art.
“In reality, the song and the video ended up being much more stripped back and DIY than that cinematic vision in my head but people will see that for themselves.”
