As Wolf Alice approach the first anniversary of their critically acclaimed debut album ‘My Love Is Cool’, the north-London quartet are pleased to announce ‘Lisbon’ as their next single. The announcement comes alongside singer Ellie Rowsell being named as a judge for this year’s Mercury Prize and ‘Bros’ being nominated for Best Song Musically and Lyrically at the Ivor Novello Awards. We loved ‘My Love Is Cool’ and we’ve named the brilliant ‘Lisbon’ as our Track of the Day! Listen Here:

In 2016 Wolf Alice have played U.S and U.K headline tours including four sold-out shows at The Forum in London. The band are currently supporting The 1975 on their U.S tour and have recently been announced for Radio 1’s Big Weekend as well as playing a string of festival appearances over the summer including Glastonbury, Ibiza Rocks and Bestival.

Taken from My Love Is Cool, ‘Lisbon’, impacting 24th June, captures the imagination of their debut; mixing 90s noise-pop sensibilities with a sense of youthful self-discovery that builds into a euphoric ending uniting their multifarious sound.

Wolf Alice’s independently released debut has seen them enter the Offical U.K album charts at #2; sell out tours in Europe, the U.S and U.K; pick up Best Independent Breakthrough at the AIM Awards and being made Apple’s Breakthrough act of 2015. In the past year the band have also been nominated at the BRIT Awards, the Grammys and the Mercury Prize and were nominated for six NME Awards, winning Best Track and Live Band.

Hi I'm Gareth, A foolish Welshman that has found himself living in Scotland. I adore live music and this all started back in University when a friend dragged me along to my first gig and I saw Travis. From then on I spent a lot of time going to see bands from rubbish uni bands that had formed one drunken night to the mighty Blur. When I finished uni there was a 10 year gap between gigs (long story). Now though, on any given day of the week I can be found in the venues of Glasgow. With regards to my music taste I love anything with great lyrics and heavy drums. When I was younger (and still am) I was obsessed with a band called Alisha's Attic.
When not at a gig I will be found at my computer playing games like Prison Architect, Hearthstone and Wolfenstein.
