Today’s track of the day comes from Teen Mortgage with new single Is It! The track is taken from their debut EP Strange Times (out now).
The garage punks combine skate punk and garage fuzz and the video, filmed in drummer Ed Barakauskas garage and recorded to VHS tape, has an interesting back story as Ed explains; “We went out the to the garage and filmed us performing our song about being generally uncertain about your whole life. Unfortunately right after, I dropped the tape down the toilet. When we fished it out and put it in the VCR, it just got dead warped and weird and we just went “all right, sound”.”
