She said: “I used to spend so much time trying to hide the messiest parts of myself, but lately I realised those parts are the most interesting. I wrote ‘pretty little wreck’ when I decided to embrace the chaos instead of apologising for it.
“After all, there’s nothing wrong with being the girl who’s falling apart. Life becomes a lot more interesting when you stop pretending that you’ve got everything figured out, and I hope this song gives my fans inspiration to lean into that.”
