Interlaker have released an awesome single called Carving Circles.
Vocalist David Jakes said: “Things are pretty tricky when there’s a breakup between two people with a child, as many will know. I moved back to Cambridge from London when this happened to me, so I missed quite a few of my daughter’s big birthdays as a result; I looked at a lot of them through photos and FaceTime.
“That’s what ‘Carving Circles’ is about; there are a few moody and darker moments that pop up on this record but this track particularly encapsulates that feeling perfectly.”
Guitarist Jack Wrench adds: “On this track we didn’t worry ourselves with keeping within parameters of conventional song structure, we just followed that mood. We have only had one opportunity to play this track live, but I think it was the strongest response of the set. So we’re excited for people to get know this song”.
