Today, rockers Rob Jarvis and The Mercury Sons are our track of the day. The Essex based alternative rock quartet have released their debut single Just To Make You Happy & it’s clearly only the beginning of things.

With influences from Stone Temple Pilots, Soundgarden and Alice in Chains, through to Biffy Clyro and Foo Fighters, to the likes of Jeff Buckley the band have captured a sound that is passionate and full of strong lyrics and guitars.

Our debut release ‘Just To Make You Happy’ hasn’t been shown to a great deal of people, but those who’ve encountered it during the ‘making of’ stages have made reference to all kinds of bands, certainly lots of reference to 90s rock, so we hope you all like it.” – states Rob Jarvis, lead vocalist and guitarist.

We’re fans for sure.
