The band said: “Solid Gold holds a special place in our hearts – after we lost Tom our bassist, this is the first track we got in a room together and finished. Whether we meant to or not the lyrics ended up being a lot about loss and people pulling you through. We also wanted to come back with a bang – so it has one of the phattest riffs we could conjure and the thickest chorus we could manifest.”
