Today’s track of the day comes from Northlane with their new single Colourwave! The track is taken from their incredible latest album Mesmer.

Colourwave is one of the most popular tracks on the album and charts guitarist Josh Smith’s battle with depression and how darkness created in his mind invades a world of colour, which is captured beautifully in the video.

Josh says; “Colourwave has been one of the fan favourite tracks on Mesmer so we felt compelled to shoot a video for it. Our main goal here was to create the most visually stunning clip to date. While the crazy UV paint scenes were the centerpiece here, it had to also tie into the lyrics thematically at the same time. The song is about suffering through mental illness and realising that the negative glass through which you see the world is within your own mind.”
