With Confidence are back with their sophomore album Love and Loathing. Opening with the insanely catchy That Something, the Australian trio have started as they mean to go on with an absolute banger. Sing To Me’s soaring vocal melodies are some of the stand outs on the record.
The Turnaround is a feel good anthem and the double whammy of Bruise and Paquerette (Without Me) next to each other will leave you an emotional wreck. Icarus picks up the pace again with a spunky punk rock track.
With Love and Loathing, With Confidence have continued with the formula of 2016’s debut Better Weather with an upbeat summery feel, although the maturity and progression is evident both lyrically and musically.
