Throw The Fight – Strange World

Throw The Fight recently released their latest record Strange World and it’s one to definitely listen to!

Cover Your Tracks begins with some alien-like synths before kicking into a well-rounded track. The layering of vocals works well. The chorus is catchy and the instrumentation is good.

Lost Without You heads in a more melodic direction. The simple instrumentation is perfect for enhancing the vocals throughout the verses and of course the huge hooks remain despite the change in pace.

I think Sorry, Not Sorry is one of my favourite tracks on the album. It’s a really well-written track with an earworm of a hook.

Hourglass picks up the pace again and the intricate drums really stand out.

The remixes of Snake Mountain and Wake Up! are really cool.

One thing about Strange World is that every song has a memorable, huge hook that sticks in your head like a parasite, but I like a parasite, it is more than welcome.

Throw The Fight have put together an extremely well-made record here with every song having its own stand out moments. If you’re a fan of any form of rock music, I’d advise you to check this record out!
