Samsara by Paranormal City aka Mark Ryan, the teenage sensation from Ireland, who took time off his busy touring schedule of gigs and festival support slots in the UK to release this latest effort the ‘Samsara EP’. It’s collective electronic vibe was a positive and highly original piece of work showing more depth than his previous release.

The track I heard first was ‘Time’ that has a very nice string and snare combination working very well with the use of beautiful piano as an accompaniment with the overlay of Mark’s soaring yet tender vocals range. It’s a catching and slow but heart felt love ballad which breaks into electronic melodies after he rests his voice. The chorus is swooping and very catchy to the relaxing listener.

A real knack for melodies and sweet soft high, sometimes, falsetto vocals, Samsara to the previous release of He For She EP, comes across as having a more softer tone, thematically chill with groovy positive dance beats, over a sweet line of melodies adorned from the teen himself.

The next track I listened to was ‘Diving Deep’, a beautiful organic, piano synth bop of lush strings and a shaky rhythm to a foot tapping, soul crunching beat, all in a good way to the vocals simple but high, near falsetto and very catchy chorus.
