The highly anticipated follow-up to Biters’ 2015 album Electric Blood is set for release on May 19 via Earache Records and we got our hands on it. As they have been described as one of the most exciting and important rock bands of the decade, I was intrigued to see what all the fuss is about.

Opening track Let It Roll is a perfect example of good old-fashioned rock ‘n’ roll. From the beginning it has me hooked! The start of Stone Cold Love has a bit of a Marilyn Manson vibe, albeit, less creepy and it contains a pretty cool riff. A catchy track and a good choice for lead single. Throughout the album, you can hear the influence of the likes of Guns ‘n’ Roses. Some of the most notable tracks are Don’t Turn This Good Heart Bad with its catchy chorus, Hollywood’s melodic ballad feel, really showing off Tuk’s vocal range. This entire record has a throwback feel to the 80s rock and it is a very welcome thing! I genuinely wonder why I wasn’t on board the Biters hype before now!
