Plymouth turbo-charged-indie-punks WOAHNOWS are pleased to reveal new song ‘Puncher’, who said of the track; “a fiery, vehement call-to-arms that grows from a considered first quarter in to something far more frenetic. While talking about ‘maturity’ for music of this ilk is often seen as something as a negative, there’s a real sense of growth and composure shown on ‘Puncher’, a kind of refinement amid the ferocity of it all that elevates the band high above most other indie-punk bands that are scattered across these shores.”

The track is the latest to be taken from their forthcoming debut album ‘Understanding and Everything Else’ which will be released on 4th May 2015 via Big Scary Monsters Records.

Preorders for the album are now live at bsmrocks.com/shop – the album is available as a standalone purchase or in bundle format on CD or vinyl, which includes black (limited to 300) or transparent blue options with yellow, orange and white splatter variant (limited to 200).

The band have just come off a run of dates with their friends in Boxkite and will be heading back out in May for select dates with Beach Slang and Great Cynics before heading to Europe for a small headline run. Over the summer they’ll be making pitstops at The Great Escape Festival, This Is My Fest, 2000 Trees Festival, Truck Festival and Y Not Festival, plus a hometown show with indie punk legends Lemuria in Plymouth.
