“There are so many things going on to dishearten everyone, all the time; so many minorities and different cultures affected. I don’t know where my place in it is anymore—it’s so hard to try and make big changes or help, because it seems like we can never do enough.”

Tiger Army – Retrofuture

Tiger Army‘s sixth album Retrofuture will be released on September 13 through Rise Records!

Frontman Nick 13 said: ‘Retrofuturism is generally a visual aesthetic, but it got me thinking, it’s the perfect description for our sound!

“The gear and instruments are mostly 1950s and 60s, but while the tones may be classic, we’ve always tried to push into uncharted territory musically with each release.

“So the idea behind this record was to create our version of what someone might imagine future rock ’n’ roll sounding like, but from the perspective of the mid-20th century.’

Eradikator – Obscura

Eradikator are showing the best of British heavy metal with their new album! Obscura is set for release on August 3 through Divebomb Records.

Guitarist Andy MacNevin said: Obscura is about addressing the darker side of the human psyche. It’s a concept album that deals with the different stages of grief and how they impact the mind, looking at how we manage those feelings and ultimately try to move forward whilst not forgetting that which we have lost.”
