Guitarist Chris Pritchard said: “We’ve always wanted to do a tour like this where it’s just stripped down, up close and personal with no bullshit in between. Whenever we’ve tried to do something like this in the past, other tours and opportunities have gotten in the way but this time it’s happening. It feels more perfect than ever to have this be our first tour back after being away from fans for nearly 2 years now, to bring them back and closer than ever straight out the gate. We’re super excited to hit these towns and cities, most for the first time ever, with new songs, new visuals and a new skin – we can’t wait to share that experience with you all.”

The band said: “We have announced many tours over the years, and every time we say that we couldn’t be more excited. Well, this is the tour that was supposed to be announced a year and a half ago. A year and a half which has felt more like a lifetime. Saying we couldn’t be more excited is an understatement. Never before have we ever been this hungry and passionate to create a show for you and for ourselves. We are not leaving anything behind. This show will be the most beautiful, angry, entertaining and honest production we have ever done. We are sparing nothing. We live and die for this. We are Going Hunting!”

Winterfylleth will tour the UK in October with support from Mork.
Winterfylleth vocalist Chris Naughton said: “After two thwarted attempts to get a new album tour off the ground, we are pleased to announce that we have reorganised a fresh run of shows with our friends in Mork. 18 months after the release of The Reckoning Dawn we will finally be able to bring our newest songs to an audience for the first time. With Mork having released their fantastic new album Katedralen in the meantime as well, we are coming back stronger than ever, with a wealth of new material for our fans. We look forward to seeing you all in October. Until then!”
Thomas Eriksen of Mork adds: “Mork has visited the UK on a couple of occasions, all of the shows were such a brilliant experience for us. To be able to go back and do a longer run is such a privilege and to be able to do it together with the lads in Winterfylleth is the icing on top of the cake! See all of you during the reckoning!”
