What is your favourite song you’ve written?
Our favourite song would have to be our new single ‘Dreaming In The Dark‘.
What inspired the song?
The song is a love song to the city of London after dark. We feel like it’s a massively positive step in the right direction as a follow up to our previous EP. It was a joy to write and even better to record it. It has such a cool mix of dynamics. One minute you’re pummelled with a huge riff and then the verses create a dreamy euphoric sound that totally helps set a foundation for the vocal melodies.
What is it about the track that makes it so special to you?
Growing up outside the city, we could always see the London skyline twinkling away in the distance and it always stayed with as I thought of how many stories were happening right at that very moment in different people’s lives.
