Slaughter Beach, Dog, have released their new EP, ‘Motorcycle.jpg‘, along with debut UK appearances this September.

This EP is released in the run-up to an album, set for release in Autumn this year. The EP sees Slaughter Beach, Dog explore more ambitious styles of production, and variations on lyrical themes and genres, not settling into one specific set of sounds.

The band was formed from Jake Ewald (Modern Baseball) trying to overcome writer block, and before he knew it, he had an album of fully-fledged songs, and Slaughter Beach, Dog was born.

The album (which would soon become their 10-track debut) features songs about both fictitious people and situations, and personal songs forged from past experiences. The album switches between musical styles and narrative structures, and is sure to be a great one.

To support the release of the EP, the band have released the first single from ‘Motorcycle.jpg’, ‘Building the Ark‘, available for streaming below;
