Music is a community and the lovely members of heavy metal band Metal Allegiance have come together to create a special EP. Fallen Heroes is set for release on August 12 and pays respect to musical legends David Bowie, Glenn Frey and Lemmy Kilmister.
The two bands will be starting up in Liverpool and ending in Camden. Their appearances include spots at "Live It Up" festival in Northampton and shows with fellow UK Pop Punk bands On The Open Road, Tigerstyle, All These Years and Better Than Never.
Throughout the band's eight year career, they built a fanbase with their alternate styles, which grew alongside the band, into a small, tight-knit community. They were a band who led the way in terms of building strong relationships with fans, regularly going out of their way to make time for and further create a community. Below, I recount some of my experiences of the band and what they did for fans .
