London based, metal 5-piece, SHIELDS, have just revealed their brand new video for ‘But This Feels Worse’, taken from their EP that was released this Monday, ‘Guilt’.

“‘But This Feels Worse’ is actually a partner song to ‘I’ve Dealt With Worse’ which is the first track on our EP Guilt. Both tracks are about being in love with someone who unfortunately does not return love in the way that you want”, explains Guitarist and vocalist, Sam Kubrick. He continues, “It’s musically different from all the other songs on the EP, and my personal favourite. We are very curious and equally stoked to see what people make of it!”

On The New EP…

We feel that ‘Guilt’ is a massive step up for Shields, both musically and when it comes to the lyrical content”, explains Sam Kubrick (Vocals/Guitar).
“This release is very honest and does not hold back in the slightest. It consists of the heaviest tunes we have ever made whilst retaining the distinguishable melodic side to our sound. The tone of the EP is much darker than our first release, topics including; suffering from addiction, falling in love and not receiving love back.
It’s been a long time coming and we can not wait to hear what people make of the direction we are taking our music.”

SHIELDS have their EP Release Show, this Thursday 23rd April at the Boston Music Rooms, London.
