Pop hooks still abound, however, with the group’s dedication to melody shining bright through the murk of their down-tuned shoegaze. Vocalist/guitarist Connor Schofield ties his catchy melodies around a dedication to “what you see in bad company” – the perfect metaphor for JAWS’ light and dark duality.

With last year’s debut album Be Slowly fine-tuning their versatility and seeing the unsigned band hit the top 75 in the Official Albums Chart, JAWS are now ready to hit their summer of festivals with renewed vigour (full dates below), with ‘Bad Company’ marking the next wave of their ocean of potential.
