With every cloud, comes a silver lining. Following the sad news that Hevy Fest is no more, comes the announcement of a new three-day festival in the heart of Bedfordshire!
The inaugural Fort Fest will take place across September 2-4 at Thurleigh in Bedfordshire and will showcase some of the UK’s best talent. With early bird tickets priced at ONLY £55 and includes camping AND parking (what a bargain!) this festival is set to be affordable and fill the void.
So who can you see at this festival? Well the first few bands have been announced and are as follows: Lonely The Brave, INME, The Dirty Youth, Treatment, Eva Plays Dead, Bad Touch, Grumble Bee, Cheap Meat, Liberty Lies, Sister Shotgun, Phoenix Calling, Fires That Divide, Common Youth, Hidden Skies and Apherium.
Festival organiser Jon Hewitt says; “Fort Fest is located on mature grassland in the heart of England and is only an hour north of London. We’ve already got some brilliant bands lined up and many more will be announced soon. We think that we have created an exciting new themed festival and want our guests to have an affordable weekend that they’ll want to come back to year after year”.
