Welcome to the Gig Guide, where we round up some of the recently announced tour dates for the UK and Ireland.

In this week’s Gig Guide, we bring you 10 recently announced alternative music tours and one-off live shows to help you plan your gig calendars.

October Drift

October Drift will be performing their biggest headline show in London later this year.

Guitarist Kiran Roy said: “We are beyond excited to announce our biggest ever headline show to date in the iconic and legendary Scala, London.

“We can’t wait to play the venue of such rich heritage, size and scale to demonstrate what four mates from a sleepy town, armed with heart and fuzz pedals can achieve. This show in the capital is our most important yet and we would love to see you all there to celebrate it with us.”

Delain

Delain will be back in the UK later this year! Support will come from Stone Broken and Damian Wilson.

Delain said: “UK and IRELAND, we’re coming for YOU! After the great success in London and Manchester earlier, we decided to come back with a dedicated tour across the islands to party with you guys once again!”

Kris Barras Band will be on tour in the UK later this year!

Support comes from North Atlas and The Nocturnal Affair.

Kris Barras said: “I’m really looking forward to this tour, the UK tour we just finished was just the time of my life, and I know these rooms, these stages, and these crowds will not disappoint either. We need our grassroots venues to not only survive but thrive, and help grow today’s newer bands into tomorrow’s festival headliners, so grab a ticket and come out and help us do our bit.”

The Lazys will be in the U.K. in August!

Frontman Leon Harrison said: “It’s been a while between biscuits and beers but to our pals in the UK and Europe, the next round’s on us! See ya soon, legends!”

Guitarist Matty Morris adds: “UK and Europe! It’s been way too long between drinks. Been missing you guys since we left in 2019. It’s gonna be awesome to be back. These shows are going to be insane and I can’t bloody wait. Bring it on!”

Skindred will be back on tour in the UK later this year!

Frontman Benji Webbe said: Myself and my brothers in Skindred are so excited to be heading back out on the road in the UK.

“We have had nothing but amazing vibes since we dropped our album Smile and due to the amount of messages we have received we head back out to some of our favourite hotspots in the UK to mash it up again in the way only Skindred can.

South Arcade have announced three headline shows!

The band said: “It was crazy how quickly DANGER has reached so many new people. We didn’t have any headline shows planned for the rest of the year but we knew we had to meet these new fans and what better way than playing some gigs? We can’t wait to welcome the newcomers to the South Arcade world – see you in the Autumn!”
